 Ahsabi-Monique Burris is a mom, multi-talented creative, holistic living enthusiast, and entreprenuer. She is the founder of AYA Body Care, formerly Ibeji Body Care, that for nearly two decades has delivered premium quality holistic beauty and health products for the whole-minded family.

 I began working with the alchemy of herbs, oils and nutrition over 20 years ago as a newly launched young adult with a serious health challenges . I was keenly aware of the crucial shift my own body was making to restore balance after my diagnosis and I began purging myself of the processed and artificial and opting for holistic remedies and supplements in support of my optimal health. 

This deep self-awareness would become the foundation of my new identity that positively affected my lifestyle choices over the next years of my life.  Naturally, when I birthed twins who developed skin afflictions, inner wisdom and my association with other like-minded mamas guided me to create a simply sourced herbal ointment that ended up curing them. It was affectionately called “Budi Love” . 

Word spread quickly among my network of new parents, who then ended up requesting a “grown up” version (the prototype of “Nourish”). Demand was the fire that led to our expansion.
